1 – Standard procedure for determining the current serial number
Start your WINDEV, WEBDEV or WINDEV Mobile and click on Help and select “About…” from the menu at the bottom.
All serial numbers for WINDEV start with “W”, then follows the version, e.g. “23” for version 23 and then comes an “A” for the English version (anglaise) or an “F” for French.
All serial numbers for WEBDEV start with “T”, then follows the version, e.g. “23” for version 23 and then comes an “A” for the English version (anglaise) or an “F” for French.
All serial numbers for WINDEV Mobile start with “K”, then follows the version, e.g. “23” for version 23 and then comes an “A” for the English version (anglaise) or an “F” for French.
The serial numbers for WDMSG start with an “M”, then follows the version, e.g. “23” for version 23 and then comes an “A” for the English version (anglaise) or an “F” for French.
The serial numbers of the WEBDEV Application Servers start with a “P” then follows the version, e.g. “23” for version 22 and then comes an “A” for the English version (anglaise) or an “F” for French.
2 – I want to find out the serial number of a WINDEV / WEBDEV or WINDEV Mobile Dongle without installing the product
Just download the TechSupportRequest program from http://www.windev.com/ts/download/TechSupportRequest.htm and install it on drive C: When you start the program (double click on TechSupportRequest.exe in the directory C:\TSRequest), the Technical Support Contact Wizard will appear, on the second page of which you can see the serial number of the currently inserted dongle!
3 – I want to find out the serial number of a WEBDEV Application Server (here: P20FWCLOUD)
The serial number of a running WEBDEV Appliaction Server can be retrieved by calling the URL
